Club NXT kent tegenstanders in UEFA Youth League

The Champions League draw has been made, which also means Club NXT now know their potential opponents for this season’s UEFA Youth League.

The UEFA Youth League is the Champions League for youth sides, giving young players the chance to experience top-level European football both at home and away. The competition is contested by U19 teams.

As was the case last season, Club NXT will face the first six opponents drawn against the senior side in the Champions League. In practice, this means that eight potential opponents are already known, with six of them to be confirmed later this week. Club NXT will play only against the first six, with three matches at home and three away. The two fixtures scheduled after the New Year for the senior team do not count in the Youth League.

Club NXT will play on the same day as the first team (in the afternoon) against the same opponent. For away games, they will also travel alongside the senior squad, ensuring the full experience of a genuine European trip.
