Match Day 2 in the League Phase of the UEFA Champions League comes with a trip to Bergamo for Club Brugge. With kick-off tonight at 18h45, Club faces Atalanta BC at the New Balance Arena for the second time in two seasons. Here's what you need to know if you plan on joining us there!


IMPORTANT LOCATIONS

Club fans are recommended to gather in the Bergamo city centre, with Piazzale degli Alpini, close to the train station, as the meeting spot for all Club fans. A lively atmosphere and a fine bar will be the ideal place to gear up towards the game. A special shuttle service will take the fans from Piazzale degli Alpini (as of 15h45) straight to the visitor's block at the New Balance Arena, and will be returning the face to the meeting point after the game. Every visiting fan is obliged to take this free shuttle service, also accessible for wheelchair users.

STADIUM

Atalanta BC's home ground is the New Balance Arena, a stadium with a rich and impressive past. Originally established in 1928, the "Brumana" held 12,000 fans. Even if the size of the grounds remained unchanged throughout history, the stadium has seen a major revamp ever since. The pitch is at 110x70, and both the Tribuna Rinascimento and the Curves are completely covered by a new roof. The Curva Nord has been dedicated to Federico Pisani, while the Curva Sud remembers Piermario Morosini, making the stadium not only a place of sports, but also a place of emotion and remembrance of these team icons. 24,642 fans now fit the stadium.

Gates will open at 15h45, and all visiting fans will be directed to Gate 6. Prior to accessing the filter zone, ID's and entry tickets will be checked by stewards, and all fans will be frisked. Ticket control will be electronic or with mobile scanners. 

Bags and backpacks larger than A4 are not permitted within the stadium. Maximum size of flags and banners is 2mx1m. Fans are allowed to bring a powerbank to the stadium, as long as it is not larger than a smartphone.

The New Balance Arena features a number of catering facilities. Alcoholic beverages above 5% are not available. Fans can pay in cash or by card. Clearly intoxicated fans can be denied entry to the game. Smoking within the grounds is not permitted.
